The Kinetic Nova 135 is India's first 135cc gearless scooter and is a spruced-up version of the original Nova DLX. The Nova 135 boasts of a single cylinder, air-cooled, four-stroke engine that generates a peak power of 8.65bhp at 6,500 rpm.

The powerful engine of the Nova 135 will suit customers who want more power and quicker pick-up. The low torque of the engine ensures smoother, quicker acceleration and also eventually goes on to score well even in the mileage department.

The Nova 135 features a throttle sensor driven mileage expert that gives out an audible signal every time the rider is crossing into the uneconomical (low mileage) range, in addition to a display in the instrument panel that lights up a down or up arrow. The scooter is equipped with bigger 130mm drum brakes at the front to cope with greater engine power.

On the utility front, the Nova 135 features electric start, gearless variomatic transmission, a standard glove box, huge underseat storage that lights up automatically at night, puncture resistant tyres, and a mobile charge point.
